Sunday April 13th
After another wonderful breakfast we had another day to roam the city since we were unable to get on our river cruise ship. We walked the perimeter of the Castle District to make sure we hadn’t missed anything. Found all kinds of neat nooks and crannies to explore. Did a lot of people watching since the people who live here as well as the hundreds of tourists were all out walking today.
We had dinner with our other cruise folks today in the hotel dinning room since we were unable to have the planned dinner on the ship. A couple from Norfolk and a couple from Moscow, who now live in Tampa joined us for an excellent meal.
After a walk, we returned to the room to pack as we leave for a bus trip at 8am. After the planned tour here in Budapest the bus will take us on a drive through the country to somewhere in the Czech Republic. So stay tuned to find out.
