Thursday April 17th
As we came into Passau this morning the announcement was made that we were approaching the Three Rivers Area. This is where the Danube, the Inn, and the llz come together before the Danube leaves Germany and heads to Austria. We walked into town with Ingrid our guide who was really cute. She gave us a very animated tour of the city and St Stephen’s Basilica/Cathedral. This town is the home of our present Pope who, along with his brother, still has a residence here.
