Sunday April 20th
Kind of a bittersweet day as it’s time to head home. It was a wonderful trip, rain and cold included, but home and some sunshine will be a welcome feeling. From Nuremberg to Paris, Brad was able to get a misty picture of the Eiffel Tower. Then the fun at the Paris airport began. Seems they enjoy watching you run from one end to the other, through multiple security checks, and then be bussed back for your plane. But we made it in time, along with another couple from NC who were on the cruise as well. It was another long flight with wonderful food and champagne. I guess I slept through most of it because we were soon in Atlanta. Said bye to the NC couple and hurried to find our plane back to Huntsville. Since we now had phone use again Brad was able to call his parents to let them know we were on the way.
Nice to be home after a wonderful trip!
