Spent New Year's Eve with friends from the choir group, Hank and Martha Philipps. Went to dinner at a quaint French restaurant with two other couples. Very good food.
On New Year's Day we attempted to watch the sun rise on the ocean to begin 2009. Then attended a Rose Bowl party where we ate and talked more than we watched the game.
Gona pack up the odds and ends and head back toward Bama sometime Saturday.
